🐾 Zoo Adventure: Group Outing!

Join us for a day of exploring and wildlife at the Phoenix Zoo! We’re heading out to enjoy the animals, catch some fresh air, and spend some quality time together.

• Date: Saturday, February 7th
• Address: 455 N Galvin Pkwy, Phoenix, AZ 85008
• Meeting Time: 9:45 AM (to gather and say hello!)
• Entry Time: 10:00 AM sharp

🎒 What to Bring

• Refillable Water Bottle: Hydration stations are located throughout the park.
• Sun Protection: Even in February, the Arizona sun is strong! Bring a hat and sunscreen.
• Portable Charger: For all those photos of the animals (and if we spot a look-alike of those in the group!).
• Comfortable Shoes: Expect to walk about 2.5 miles if you do all the trails.

🍱 Food & Drink Options

You have two great options for lunch and snacks:

• On-Site Vendors: There are various food stands throughout the zoo! You can grab burgers and pizza at the Savanna Grill, Starbucks coffee at Jungle Java, or snacks like kettle corn and ICEEs at Safari Snacks and Lakeside.
• Bring Your Own: The zoo allows outside food, coolers, and ice chests. There are plenty of picnic tables located throughout the grounds for us to sit and eat.

Note: Please no glass containers or outside alcohol. The zoo is a cashless venue for all internal purchases.

🎟️ Tickets & Entry

This is a “buy your own ticket” event. We recommend purchasing tickets online in advance via the Phoenix Zoo website to skip the ticket window lines.

👕 Attire Reminder

As this is a public outing at a family-friendly venue, please ensure your attire reflects a public setting. We suggest dressing in layers, as February mornings can start off chilly before warming up.

📍 Meeting Point

We will gather near the main entrance sculptures (by the ticket booths) at 9:45 AM. We’ll head to the turnstiles together at 10:00 AM!
